Video: Pizza Hut Introduces Pizza-Ordering 'Pie Top' Sneakers

The new shoes work in conjunction with the Pizza Hut mobile app to signal for delivery wherever you are

Have you ever looked at your footwear and secretly wished it could order you pizza? Well, Pizza Hut has you covered.

In time for March Madness, the longstanding pizza chain has unveiled an ad (above) for its new Pie Top sneakers, which, in conjunction with the Pizza Hut mobile app, can get pizzas delivered to you with the push of a button. Each pair of the high top sneakers contains a Bluetooth chip that syncs up with the app, allowing users to order a pre-selected pizza simply by pressing the tongue of the shoe. Built-in geo-location technology also allows the pizza to be delivered to wherever the users are.

"It's always important that we make it easy for fans to order the Pizza Hut pizza they love without missing a moment of the March Madness action," Pizza Hut's vice president of media and advertising David Daniels said in a press release.

Sadly, the sneakers will be a very limited item—only 64 pairs are being given away by Pizza Hut.
