Fans of Batman, Superman, and other DC comics superheroes just got their first look at what Gotham City and Metropolis might look like in real life.

Warner Bros. and Abu Dhabi’s Miral on Tuesday unveiled concept art and key details for their massive, $1 billion Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi theme park. Opening in 2018 on Abu Dhabi’s man-made Yas Island, the park will feature six different immersive environments for visitors, including recreations of Batman’s Gotham City (pictured above) and Superman’s Metropolis.

The park’s Gotham section will reportedly be filled with dark alleys and attractions based on the Joker and the Riddler, while its Metropolis section will be peppered with the city’s trademark skyscrapers.

Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi will also contain Cartoon Junction, Bedrock, and Dynamite Gulch, representing the company’s various cartoon properties such as Looney Tunes and Hanna-Barbera, and Warner Bros. Plaza, representing old Hollywood.

“Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi will be a state-of-the-art themed experience that authentically brings some of the studio’s most iconic characters and stories to life under one roof for the first time in the Middle East,” Pam Lifford, president of Warner Bros. Consumer Products said in a statement. “We have been closely collaborating with our partners at Miral to faithfully construct immersive worlds that resonate with precise details and are thrilled to share these unique experiences with fans next year.”

The first phase of the park’s opening is set for next year, but if you want to just stop by and check in on the construction Yas Island already contains Yas Waterworld, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Marina Circuit, the Yas Mall, seven hotels, a golf course, a marina, and a beach.
