August may be one of the hottest months of the year, but thanks to Netflix. HBO Now, and Amazon Prime you may never need to leave your air-conditioned living room again.

The digital-streaming giants have unveiled what movies and TV shows are coming and going next in the coming month and, as usual, there’s a bevy of classics, cult favorites, and original films and series from which to choose.

Netflix debuts several highly anticipated series in August, including Marvel’s superhero team-up “The Defenders,” Paul Rudd, Amy Poehler, and Elizabeth Banks’ star-studded “Wet Hot American Summer” revival, and Michael Rapaport’s autism-related, coming-of-age comedy “Atypical.” Netflix is also dropping several comedy specials, its American “Death Note” remake, brand new episodes of Chelsea Handler’s talk show “Chelsea,” and a good many films, including “Bad Santa,” “Jackie Brown,” all three “Matrix” films, and recent Stern Show guest Jim Carrey’s “The Number 23.”

Over on HBO Now there’s a smattering of recent theatrical releases, including J.K. Rowling’s “Harry Potter” follow-up “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” and Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, and Jake Gyllenhaal’s Oscar-nominated psychological drama “Nocturnal Animals.” The streamer also adds a George Lopez comedy special, an Andy Warhol documentary, and films like Nic Cage’s “Adaptation,” Scarlett Johansson’s “Girl With a Pearl Earring,” and Edward Norton’s “The Incredible Hulk.”

Coming to Hulu are new seasons of TV shows, like ABC’s “Bachelor in Paradise” and John C. McGinley’s comedy-horror series “Stan Against Evil,” as well as Stern Show veteran 50 Cent’s quasi-biopic “Get Rich or Die Tryin’” and recent Stern Show guest Charlize Theron’s 2003 heist flick “The Italian Job.” Other films include two Stephen King adaptations (“Cujo” and “The Dead Zone”), John Singleton’s racially charged college drama “Higher Learning” (starring Ice Cube and Rapaport, among others), and Lawrence Kasdan’s 1983 classic “The Big Chill.”

Hulu, meanwhile, drops Season 1 of its original superhero satire “The Tick,” a Nick Offerman & Megan Mullally comedy special “Summer of 69: No Apostrophe,” and an unrated version of Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s “Superbad,” which helped make Emma Stone and Stern Show regular Jonah Hill superstars in 2007. Many films are hitting both Hulu and Amazon in August, including all five “Saw” films, both “Bill & Ted’s” movies, both “Teen Wolfs,” “Wayne’s World 2,” and Hugh Grant and Meryl Streep’s Oscar-nominated period drama “Florence Foster Jenkins,” which Hugh discussed at length during his 2016 Stern Show debut.

Of course, that’s just the tip of the streaming iceberg. Here’s the complete list of what’s coming and going on Netflix, HBO Now, and Amazon Prime in August:
