VIDEO: It’s All-Out War for Benicio Del Toro and Josh Brolin in ‘Sicario: Day of the Soldado’ Trailer

SEQUEL TO 2015’S ‘SICARIO’ HITS THEATERS IN JUNE

March 22, 2018

When it comes to taking down Mexican drug cartels, Matt Graver (Josh Brolin) and Alejandro Gillick (Benicio Del Toro) are ready for war.

In the sequel to 2015’s “Sicario,” the two actors take center stage as Emily Blunt, who starred in the first film, is no longer on the case. Brolin’s character is assigned by the U.S. government with digging into the drug kingpins south of the border whose operations are being labeled as terrorist acts. Once receiving his mission, Brolin declares in the trailer (above) that he’s “gonna have to get dirty” while taking on this task.

Also locked and loaded is Del Toro’s trained assassin character whose conscience gets tested when a young girl gets caught in the middle.

“Sicario: Day of the Soldado” drops June 29.
