Sia and David Guetta Drop Ninja-Filled ‘Flames’ Music Video

Chart-topping artists’ latest effort stars past Stern Show guest Danny Trejo

April 5, 2018

Sia and David Guetta just released an action-packed, ninja-filled music video for “Flames,” the Australian singer-songwriter and French DJ-producer’s latest single burning up the charts.

Directed by Lior Molcho, the video (above) stars Guetta himself alongside actor and 2010 Stern Show guest Danny Trejo. Guetta stars as the Emperor, a flame-throwing bad guy with an army of ninjas at his disposal, while Trejo plays the Master, a white-bearded kung fu teacher who trains three female warriors to fight the forces of evil.

Before joining forces on “Flames,” which dropped in late March, Sia and Guetta had teamed up on a number of successful singles, including “She Wolf (Falling to Pieces),” “Bang My Head,” and their multi-platinum 2011 hit “Titanium.” Sia discussed writing “Titanium” during her 2014 visit to the Stern Show, telling Howard she hadn’t originally planned to sing on the track. However, Guetta wound up liking her demo vocals for the song so much that he decided to feature her on the final product.
