Rocker and repeat Stern Show guest Marilyn Manson has dropped a music video for his cover of the haunting ‘80s horror theme “Cry Little Sister.” The colorful and appropriately creepy clip (above) was produced by Tyler Bates and directed by Bill Yukich, a filmmaker who has previously made music videos with artists ranging from Beyoncé to Foo Fighters.

Performed and co-written by Gerard McMahon, the original song was made famous in service of the cult-adored vampire flick “The Lost Boys,” starring Corey Haim, Kiefer Sutherland, and Corey Feldman.

Manson’s cover, meanwhile, was recorded for the soundtrack of a different scary movie—Josh Boone’s 2019 X-Men spinoff “The New Mutants,” starring Maisie Williams (Arya Stark on “Game of Thrones”) and Charlie Heaton (Jonathan Byers on “Stranger Things”) as two of several troubled young mutants struggling to stay alive in what seems to be a sinister asylum.

During his last visit to the Stern Show, Marilyn told Howard about making another recent music video with his good pal Johnny Depp. Check out that and more from his 2017 interview here.
