AUDIO: Hear Late ‘Linkin Park’ Singer Chester Bennington’s Collaboration With Lamb of God Guitarist Mark Morton

“Cross Off” hails from Morton’s upcoming solo album “Anesthetic”

January 10, 2019

There’s a new track featuring late metal legend Chester Bennington, the Linkin Park and Stone Temple Pilots frontman who took his own life in 2017.

The iconic vocalist teamed with Lamb of God guitarist Mark Morton on the tune “Cross Off” (above), released ahead of Morton’s March solo effort “Anesthetic.” The star-studded record features collaborations with a variety of rock and metal stars, including Megadeth’s David Ellefson, Black Crowes’ Marc Ford and Steve Gorman, Korn’s Ray Luzier, Alice in Chains’ Mike Inez, and even Morton’s own Lamb of God bandmate Randy Blythe.

Stern Show listeners will probably remember how hardcore a fan staffers Brent Hatley and Shuli Egar are of Mark Morton and Lamb of God. While Shuli discovered their music first, Brent made up for lost time in 2018 by inking the band on his arm to go along with his many other tattoos.

Mark Morton’s “Anesthetic” is available March 1. To pre-order the album click here.
