VIDEO: Jesse Pinkman's on the Lam in First Teaser for 'Breaking Bad' Movie Sequel 'El Camino'

One of TV’s most beloved crystal meth makers remains on the lam in the first-look teaser for “El Camino,” Netflix’s follow-up film to Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul’s critically acclaimed AMC series “Breaking Bad.”

Released on Saturday, the short clip is set in an interrogation room where a group of federal agents are questioning Skinny Pete (Charles Baker), hoping to figure out what has become of burnout-turned-drug-kingpin Jesse Pinkman (Paul), who cooked and dealt meth for five seasons alongside his former high school chemistry teacher Walter White (Cranston).

Unfortunately for them, Skinny Pete hasn’t got a clue. “I have no idea where he is. I don’t know where he’s headed either. North, South, West, East, Mexico, the Moon—I don’t have a clue,” Skinny Pete says (above).

“But, yo, even if I did, I wouldn’t tell you because I’ve been watching the news same as everybody else. I’ve seen that little cage they kept him in. I heard about what all they did to him to make sure he kept cooking … No way I’m helping you people put Jesse Pinkman back inside a cage,” he continues.

Written and directed by “Breaking Bad” creator Vince Gilligan, “El Camino,” is reportedly set just after the events of the series finale. The story follows the further adventures of Jesse Pinkman, whose character was given an ambiguous ending on the series finale after escaping from the Nazi compound where he was being held. It’s unclear which other “Breaking Bad” stars will appear in “El Camino,” and when Cranston confirmed its existence late last year, the repeat Stern Show guest revealed he’d be happy to reprise his role but wasn’t even sure if the script called for his character to make an appearance.
