VIDEO: Bob Odenkirk Considers Bearing His Soul in New ‘Better Call Saul’ Season 5 Teaser

AMC’s “Breaking Bad” prequel series kicks off its penultimate run in February

Albuquerque’s slickest, slimiest lawyer is desperate to unburden his soul in the new Season 5 teaser for AMC’s “Breaking Bad” prequel “Better Call Saul,” returning in February.

Actor and comedian Bob Odenkirk portrays the titular star of the crime dramedy, which follows the misadventures of the conman turned criminal lawyer Jimmy McGill, a.k.a. Saul Goodman. The latest clip shows him sitting down with Kim (Rhea Seehorn) to possibly fess up to his crimes.

“What if I have the urge to tell you something, and you don’t like what you hear?” Odenkirk’s character asks (above).

It’s the second-to-last run for the series, set a few years before the events of Vince Gilligan’s other hit drama. Several characters have already crossed over from “Breaking Bad” to the prequel, including ex-cop turned low-level muscle Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks), D.E.A. agent Hank Schrader (Dean Norris), and meth distributor Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito). It’s unclear who else might make the leap to “Better Call Saul” before the show winds down, though certainly the story could allow for Stern Show veteran Bryan Cranston to make an appearance as chemistry teacher Walter White.

“Better Call Saul” Season 5 debuts Sunday, Feb. 23 at 10 p.m. ET on AMC. Watch additional teasers (below).
