After more than two years in post-production purgatory, the X-Men spinoff “New Mutants” has finally released a new trailer.

“Game of Thrones” veteran Maisie Williams and “Peaky Blinders” actress Anya Taylor-Joy star in 20th Century Fox and Marvel’s upcoming horror film, playing two of the five mutant teens held against their will in a creepy psychiatric facility as they come to terms with their unique and deadly powers.

The clip (above) begins in a group therapy session as a doctor (Alicia Braga) asks the teens to recount their first time using their mutant powers. “I was 13, I thought it was a dream. I just lost control,” says Williams, whose character Wolfsbane turns into a wolf.

“I killed 18 men. One by one,” adds Taylor-Joy, whose character Magik is a Russian mutant with teleportation powers.

After learning the hospital they’re trapped in might be bringing their biggest fears to life, the teens band together amid a montage of chaos, evil, and destruction and attempt to fight their way out.

Directed by Josh Boone (“The Fault in Our Stars”), “The New Mutants” co-stars Charlie Heaton as Cannonball, Henry Zaga as Sunspot, and Blu Hunt as Mirage.

“The New Mutants” opens April 3.
