From gas station robberies to shootouts with the cops, there isn’t much Bella Thorne won’t do to boost her social media profile in “Infamous.”

The actress, poet, and 2019 Stern Show guest stars in the upcoming crime drama as Ariel, a down-on-her-luck dreamer with delusions of popularity. “For as long as I remember, I knew I was going to be famous,” she tells her iPhone as the trailer kicks off .

She forms a connection with an ex-con named Dean (Jake Manley) and after getting implicated in his abusive father’s accidental death the two are forced to go on the run. One thing leads to another and they begin knocking over stores and gas stations like a couple of modern-day outlaws. The dastardly duo’s crime spree goes viral after Bella’s character livestreams their rampage with her phone and soon they’re racking up Instagram followers while trying to stay one step ahead of the law.

Written and directed by Joshua Caldwell, “Infamous” co-stars Amber Riley, Michael Sirow, and Marisa Coughlan.

When Bella stopped by the Stern Show in 2019 she was an open book, speaking candidly with Howard about subjects ranging from her past romances to her relationship with her mother. She also spoke at length about her deeply personal book of poetry, “The Life of a Wannabe Mogul: Mental Disarray.” Check out more from the interview (below)

“Infamous” arrives June 12 on demand.
