Howard began the show commenting on how much positive e-mail he had received about yesterday's farters over on Howard 100. Robin reported that she got into her car yesterday and heard Will the Farter kick off his shift and she was laughing so hard she couldn't drive. Because of Junior's impressive work in the morning, Artie was concerned that Will would be able to hold his own, however, both Howard and Robin assured Artie that he did. Gary came into the studio and to tell how he and his son, Jackson, listened to Will yesterday in the car, and that they both thought it was hysterical.
In fact, Gary said that Jackson thought the farting was so funny that he made his younger brother listen to it when they got home. Howard said that his youngest daughter was having trouble grasping what satellite radio was, so Howard had her listen to Will last night on their way to dinner. He added that she was immediately mesmerized by what she heard. Howard went on to say that even the usually stoic Ronnie the Limo Driver was cracking up this morning listening to the farting during the drive to the studio.
Gary admitted that, before the farting started, he wasn't sure how long he'd be able to listen without getting bored. After listening to it though, he thought that the format worked so well that he wished the farting would go on forever. Howard agreed with Gary, adding that he might have to give Junior, Will and Debbie the Queefer time slots every once in a while so people can tune in to hear their talents.
Robin pointed out that she loved hearing the people in the background between farts, as well as the silence. Howard thought that hearing dead air was actually a good thing during the farting yesterday, because it made him wonder what was going on when people weren't letting loose. Like Gary, Robin acknowledged that she was upset the farting was ending this morning.
Sal Gets a Keepsake
Howard mentioned that Sal, Jason Kaplan and Ralph Cirella all dropped by SIRIUS yesterday to check out the festivities. Sal explained how Will started his farting the second Debbie's shift was done. He also said that Will was standing over the microphone like he was a runner waiting for a starting pistol to go off. Sal then reported that he asked for and got Debbie's panties as a souvenir. Jason noted that although Sal claimed he had gotten the panties for Howard, he had been talking all day about how he wanted them for himself.
Since Debbie's husband was present during her performance, Howard wondered if Sal felt weird taking her underwear in front of him. Sal responded that he had no problem making off with them, but admitted that his presence did make him think twice before watching her take off her panties. Sal went on to say that he has always had a fetish for panties. He recalled that when he used to visit his aunt when he was younger, he would go into the bathroom to take a number two and then sift through her hamper so he could get a whiff of her used panties. However, Sal claimed this act wasn't as bad as it sounded because his aunt married into the family, so they weren't related by blood – and she was hot.
