The band "3 Doors Down" came in to promote their new album "Seventeen Days." They guys in the band were all pretty mellow today because they were up all night at their CD release party. Howard figured they must have hooked up with tons of chicks but it turns out most of the guys in the band are married. Howard wondered if they all got married because they didn't have faith that the band would be a big hit.
Most of the band is from "outside Biloxi in Mississippi" and they're real southern rockers. The guys said they used to wrestle 'gators when they were kids. Howard asked them which bands they don't like and right away they said Nickelback. Howard said he was pretty sure another band that was in here recently also bad mouthed Nickelback (the band Jet). They said that the Nickleback guys were arrogant jerks and they didn't like them at all. They said that when their first album was a hit and Nickelback's wasn't, they had Nickelback tour and open for them. At the time they were really nice guys and grateful, but then Nickelback's second album was a big hit and they turned into huge asses, according to the guys in Three Doors Down. The band then performed their big hit "Kryptonite" and explained to Howard what it meant. It was something about being weak and needing help and if you're a real friend you'd help out. Howard listened to some of the tracks off their new album and said it sounded like great "'gator killing" music.
