JD Harmeyer Let Loose at the Party but Got Shy in the Bathroom

Gary Dell’Abate told Howard that media producer JD Harmeyer, who had never had a drink when he started working on the show at the age of 23 two years ago, got really drunk at the party.

Gary added that JD seems to be taking after Artie Lange, because his drink of choice is Jack and Coke.

Howard said he attempted to have a conversation with JD Saturday night and that he somehow had even less personality when he was smashed.

Ronnie Mund told Howard that he had to hear JD’s bathroom story, so JD came into the studio to tell it. JD explained that he’d never been able to urinate in public restrooms, but he had to go so badly on Saturday night that he ended up asking for permission to use one of the private bathrooms at Scores. However, JD said that he was so inebriated that he forgot to lock the bathroom door and people kept opening the door and disturbing him. JD ended up taking a cab to KROCK, 30+ blocks away, to use its facilities because he knew no one would be there.

Howard admitted he used to be the same way. He recalled going to restaurants with his family as a child and having his dad stand right by the urinal while he was trying to go, which prevented him from doing so.

Artie commented that he had the exact opposite problem as a kid, because his dad used to lift him up so he could pee in the sink at Yankee Stadium.
