Gary the Retard stopped by for his final appearance on the show. Howard commented that Gary has been performing standup as a part of "The Killers of Comedy" with Richard, Sal and Craig Gas, and that he has a handler who looks after him when they're on the road. When the handler, Jason, came into the studio, Howard asked him what it's like working so closely with Gary. Jason replied that Gary is a great guy, although he sometimes openly touches himself while they're together. Jason also noted that he doesn't like visiting Gary's apartment, because he always has his SIRIUS radio, as well as adult movies, turned up so loud that everyone in the whole building can hear them. Howard pointed out that it was tough picking Gary's best moments from the show because there were so many.
Despite this problem, Howard did say that his favorite prank call of all time was when Sal and Richard pretended that Gary was in danger of catching "the retarded flu," a bit which spawned the line, "Shoo, shoo retarded flu." In addition, Howard also played a call Richard and Sal made to Gary using the voice of Heidi Cortez, plus Gary's call to an operator trying to find the number for 1-800-FLOWERS and one to a chicken restaurant. Robin requested that Howard play a clip of Gary having one of his many conversations with Wendy the Retard and Daniel Carver, which he did. Before Gary left, Howard thanked him for all the years he's been on the show. Gary assured Howard that he'll be a part of his new program on SIRIUS, and that he'll also be making a speech at the parade on Friday.
