Tom Chiusano told Howard that plans are starting to come into place for the final show, but that he hasn't yet been able to obtain a permit for the float.
Howard pointed out that since he's friends with the New York Police Department and has been a supporter of Mayor Bloomberg, he was surprised that the process was taking so long.
Tom replied that whenever Howard's name is attached to an event, it automatically becomes more difficult.
Gary commented that so many people come out to Howard's functions, extra preparations need to be made.
To solve the problem, Howard recommended calling the party for the final show "The Tom Chiusano Parade" instead.
Howard said that he plans on putting all of his belongings from the studio onto a cart during the final show, and then pulling it onto the street with a rope. Howard reported he then wants to address the crowd, and hinted that The Backside Boys and The Losers might even make special appearances.
Since Howard was on the topic of music, Gary announced that Staind has been booked for December 16th, and that he is close to securing Train as well.
Howard added that once the festivities, which include speeches and cash giveaways, are over, he wants to treat his fans to lunch or a special concert, although the details are still being worked out.
