Because of the snowstorm occurring in New York, Beetlejuice showed up four hours late for his scheduled appearance. Since Beet came into the studio carrying a cup, Howard wondered if he was drinking coffee.
However, Beet informed Howard that he was drinking beer, and that it's a normal practice for him every morning. Howard mentioned that he was excited to have Beetle make a speech during the final show, and also pointed out that Staind will be performing its version of "The Beetlejuice Song" at the festivities.
Howard then said that although he wanted to get into more details about how Beet was introduced to the show, he didn't have the time this morning due to his late arrival.
Howard proceeded to play his two favorite moments of Beetlejuice's time on the program, the first of which when he and Gary the Retard had an IQ battle, and the second being when he threw up after drinking too much.
Now That's a Cliffhanger
Before Beet ended his final appearance in the studio, Howard asked him if he had any parting words, to which Beetle replied, "I still got things going."
Howard then informed Beetlejuice that when he comes on the show after its move to satellite, he'll be able to do Robin while they're on the air.
This led Robin to comment that was the kind of statement even Beetle would remember, and that he'd probably call her out on it come January.
