AND OF COURSE, A WORD FROM CABBIE

Before Howard made it out the door Cabbie came into the studio saying Tom Chiusano gave him the okay to take over the show today. Howard said “thanks but no thanks,” doubting that Tom said that anyway. Cabbie then stated complaining about the way he felt Gary “Baba Booey” Dell’Abate treated him today. Cabbie said that on his way in last night the guy downstairs gave him some pornographic pictures to give to Gary and Cabbie just threw them in his bag, waiting for Gary to come in, but Gary had a fit. Gary said that wasn’t exactly what happened. He said that this morning the building informed him that a woman had dropped off pictures for him and they gave them to Cabbie to give to Gary. Gary expected to find those pictures in his office this morning and when they weren’t there he asked Cabbie where they were. When Cabbie got them out of his bag Gary questioned why they were there in the first place and Cabbie got defensive, saying he didn’t want to just leave porn lying around on the floor and besides, he just got some bad news. Gary said that he didn’t know about the bad news but he didn’t buy Cabbie’s concern for leaving porn around the office considering he shows people the porn he has on his cell phone all the time. Cabbie just said “whatever” to that. Gary said Cabbie was also a major pain his ass this morning constantly bugging him and asking him for things as Gary was opening the mail. He even asked Gary for porn despite his claim last week that he’s given up watching porn for good. Gary finally asked Cabbie to leave so he could do his job and Cabbie blew up at him, asking if he was going to be like that!? Howard said he’s having his own issues with Cabbie because Cabbie is emailing him all the time asking for his advice and Howard wants him to stop. Howard said he’d talk to Cabbie about his memo after he feels better but wishes he never gave Cabbie his email address in the first place.
