Mariann from Brooklyn called in to tell Howard that Beth was about to be interviewed on Channel 2 here in New York. Howard said she was promoting her FHM cover and that she was being interviewed by Linda Lopez, sister of Jennifer and former girlfriend of Howard's friend Chris Booker. He said it was kind of weird because he hasn't spoken to Linda since she and Booker broke up. The same was true with John Stamos and Rebecca Romijn Stamos, (they broke up and he was left with John instead of Rebecca). While they waited for the interview to start, Howard took a call from Capt. Janks. Janks asked everyone to pray for him because he has to go into the hospital tomorrow for an operation. It seems Janks got himself a hernia and has to have it fixed. Robin said that wasn't so bad. Janks also reminded everyone that today was the 10 year anniversary of him calling Rosie O'Donnell a fat pig on her own show. Everybody shared their favorite Janks calls for a while and Howard suggested that they have a tribute for Janks, just in case something happens tomorrow. Howard had to interrupt this though to listen in on Beth's interview. They listened for a while and Howard said he really needed to find a way to get Linda in bed with him and Beth tonight. Janks said listening to them was very comforting for him because it was like listening to, "Ma and Pa." Howard said he came close to getting Linda with Beth once and Gary wanted to hear the story. Howard said that he, Beth, Linda and Booker were walking on a beach together once and Linda hurt her foot so Howard, not Booker, carried her home. Howard thought that because he was so manly then, he had a shot with Linda. He said, for some reason, whenever he sees two good looking women on a couch he can't help but wonder what they would look like making out. Gary said Howard was not alone in thinking that way. Howard then went back to Janks' tribute. He played Jank's Bob Hope call in when he called CNN and pretended to be one of Bob Hope's writers. He ended the call by saying that he had heard that Bob died choking on Howard Stern's ball sack. Janks thought ball sack would have been dumped out by Dead Air Dave, but he was wrong. Howard said things had gotten so bad at the station now that Tom would not allow them to run a contest they called, "Who's got the biggest balls?" Then Fred played an AC/DC song called "Big Balls" without being censored at all. Fred listed some of the Janks calls he had lined up, but Howard only wanted to hear the Kathy Lee Gifford call, which was the only one he did not have. Janks whined that he might die so Fred said they'd have to play it for his real tribute.
