Howard announced it was time for The Gary Roast, and the studio audience gave a round of applause. After Howard pointed out that Jackie Martling gave him the finger as he took his place on the dais, Howard informed him there was no chance of him getting paid for the roast, which got a laugh from the crowd. Howard then said hello to some of the other comedians in attendance – including Lisa Lampanelli, Greg Fitzsimmons and Colin Quinn – before handing the roast over to its "master," The Rev. Bob Levy. Bob opened the roast saying he needed to be alone recently, so he went to see "Beer League" before saying Robin looked like "a big, black couch in a display window" sitting in her booth and advised her to "take up bulimia" instead of car racing. Following a shot at Howard's television-watching routine, Bob turned to Gary, and told him his teeth were so green they looked like "they were still celebrating St. Patrick's Day." Bob then noted the only difference between Gary and a monkey was that a monkey "didn't cry every time Elton John comes on." A singer named Chris proceeded to take the mic to perform his Booey song parody, "Those Teeth," complete with the audience singing along and clapping.
