Howard began this morning reading a few negative e-mails he received in response to how he was thinking about changing the show's theme from Rob Zombie's "American Nightmare" to the Chambers Brothers' "Time Has Come Today." After Howard read several of the missives, Robin pointed out that he should've made the decision without telling anyone. When Robin asked if he received any positive message about the potential switch, Howard replied, "No, not one single one."
Howard then took a call from Jessica Hahn, who admitted she'd missed the past two shows and therefore didn't understand why Gary was being referred to as Mac-Hine. However, instead of just telling Jessica the answer, Howard gave her the same IQ-test question that messed up Gary – which was to spell "M-a-c" – pause – "H-i-n-e" – and she also responded Mac-Hine. The difference, though, between Gary's reply and Jessica's was that Gary immediately recognized his mistake, while Jessica repeatedly insisted the answer was either Mac-Hine or Mac-Hiney until Howard had her write it down and read it.
