Gary informed Howard that Jose, the man who stocks Artie's vending machine, was in the building restocking the machine. Howard had Jose, as well as an interpreter, Gino Latino, come into the studio so he could ask him about how his job has changed since Artie started working in the building. When Howard asked Jose why there can't be more rows of some of Artie's favorite snacks since they seem to always be out of stock, he replied that doing so would mean he'd have to eliminate other items. However, after finding out that popcorn and pretzels are rarely chosen, Howard had Jose promise that he'd ask his boss about making the necessary changes to the menu. Jose told Howard that he has been coming in to fill the vending machine three days week for the past two months, up from his usual once-a-week visit before the show began on SIRIUS, before asking Artie if he could see Artie's stomach. After showing off his goods, Artie then slipped Jose some money to see if it could get him to start bringing in more of his favorites. Artie added that he'd also like to see Devil Dogs and "a row of veal and pepper sandwiches" available in the machine.
