Howard started the show today commenting that Robin called him last night while he was in bed watching "The Bachelor" with Beth. Howard took the call because when Robin calls at night, it's got to be important. It turned out Robin called Howard to get the hotline number so she could call into The Intern show, because they were, once again, bad-mouthing her. It seems that one of the big topics on The Intern Show for the last few weeks has been: Is Robin mean to the interns? One of the current interns said on last night's show that she still hasn't made eye contact with Robin. She tried to call in last night to refute the charges of her bitchiness, but she didn't have the hotline number, the one she had was to a different studio that just rang and rang.
Howard didn't have the right number either though, so Robin had to wait until this morning to defend herself. Gary Dell'Abate came into the studio and said that he also had a beef with last night's Intern Show. He said that they had an old intern on who accused Gary of yelling at him for writing down a wrong phone number once. According to the intern, Gary told him that if it happened again, the intern would be fired and there was apparently some profanity used as well. Robin said that they have to be making stuff up, because she's heard things like this on a few different occasions, and nobody ever challenges them. Howard liked that everyone else but him was getting thrown under the bus by the interns.
