Hulk Hogan and his daughter, Brooke, came into the studio to talk about their VH1 reality show, "Hogan Knows Best." Hulk mentioned that he's glad Howard and Bubba the Love Sponge not only ended their "war," but have decided to work together as well. Howard replied that he never meant to get into a war with Bubba and that the first time he ever heard him was when the radio at the gym at which he was working out had Bubba's program on. Howard recalled that, while he was exercising, Bubba got on the air and started talking about how bad Howard's show was. However, Howard noted that he likes working with Bubba now and that one of the great aspects of being on satellite is that he can treat other personalities like family members instead of enemies. Hulk added that he and Bubba spend a great deal of time together and that he's one of the best people he's ever known.
Howard pointed out that Hulk seems to be obsessed with his daughter's success and wondered if he was taking too much interest in her life. Hulk responded that girls Brooke's age, which is 17, can sometimes be naïve and, since he knows firsthand what most men want from girls, he takes all the precautions he can to protect her. Hulk also said, though, that the reason he supports Brooke's musical career to the extent he does is because she's so passionate about it. Hulk then insisted that if Brooke ever decides not to pursue music, he won't push her in that direction. After mentioning that his 15-year-old son, Nick, is the one he should be most worried because of his wild behavior, Hulk admitted that he put a GPS tracking device on Brook's car so he always knows where she is. When Howard asked Brooke if she's ever had sex, Hulk told him he'd leave if went down that road. However, Brooke assured her father that she's still a "full-blown virgin," which calmed him down. Hulk then reported that there's a spectrum when it comes to sex, explaining that at one end are the young children who have sex and at the other end are those who wait until marriage. Hulk added that, since Brooke hasn't done it yet, she's already passed one end of the spectrum, so it could be worse whenever she finally does lose her virginity – even if it is before marriage.
Brooke claimed that her dad isn't as strict as people think and that he doesn't want her to be "an Amish person." Brooke went on to admit that she's kissed guys before, but that she hasn't gone much further than that. After Hulk again noted that Nick is the real wild child of his offspring, he came into the studio. When questioned, Nick wouldn't answer if he was still a virgin, Howard noted that his response meant he'd had sex before. This led Howard to ask Hulk if he ever gets jealous of his son because he can go out with all the girls he wants, but Hulk said no. Hulk then said that, even though he's been married for 22 years to his wife, Linda, she's still "pretty wild" in the bedroom. Brooke and Nick both backed up Hulk's assertion, adding that, when they were younger, they saw and heard their parents having sex. When Linda came into the studio to confront her children, Howard asked her if she'd show him her chest. After flashing Howard, Linda acknowledged that her breasts are fake, but that "everything has to be big" since she's married to Hulk.
Howard brought up that he finds it funny that Bubba considers himself skinny and to have "big arms." Hulk replied that Bubba is actually in good shape and that he dropped about half of the 500 pounds he weighed when they first met. Hulk went on to say that he isn't jealous of the attention Bubba gets from women either, adding that, due to his bald head, he doesn't get hit on as often as Howard assumed. When Howard commented that Bubba has revealed that Hulk shaves his entire body, Hulk said that he doesn't completely shave his private areas. Linda added that her husband's "pretty clean cut," but that his pubic region has its own "moustache," which led Hogan to announce that he actually has 2 Fu Manchus.
Hulk admitted that he used to be in a dispute with the WWE's Vince McMahon, but that they've since settled their differences. Hulk explained that part of his falling out with Vince had to do with the use of steroids by wrestlers years ago and the allegations the federal government was making that Vince was supplying his wrestlers with the drug. However, Hulk insisted that Vince had nothing to do with the steroid craze that was sweeping over the sport at the time. Hulk then acknowledged that he used steroids when he wrestled professionally, but that, back then, they were considered "safer than sugar" and that he got them from a doctor.
Hulk reported that, in his heyday, he made $15 million a year and that his earnings have allowed him to spend more time with his family now because he doesn't have to work so much. Hulk also said that he misses wrestling, which led Linda to point out that she's sure he could still step into the ring if he wanted to do so. Linda went on to say that she was "just some L.A. girl" when she met Hulk in a bar and that she waited until their second date until she slept with him. Linda added that she thought she was going to "suffocate" during her first sexual encounter with Hulk, before commenting that Brooke's much more open to her about her life than she is with her father.
Bubba got called in to say he felt badly for Hulk because Howard was "killing him." Bubba then insisted that he never looks at Brooke, who referred to him as "Uncle Bubba," in an improper manner and that sometimes he actually tells her to put on more clothing when she wears skimpy outfits during their workout sessions. Bubba went on to say that he's "all about hot chicks," but that he's not interested in them when they're "almost related" to him. Bubba also pointed out, though, that Hulk and Linda have double standards for their children, explaining that Nick gets away with everything while they run "a tight, tight ship" when it comes to their daughter.
Hulk acknowledged that being in front of the camera for "Hogan Knows Best" used to feel unnatural to him and his family members, but that they've warmed up to the idea since the beginning. Hulk explained that each of his family members has his or her own cameraperson, and that they've all become friends with each other since the show started. Although Brooke agreed with her father, she commented that one of the cameramen became too friendly with her when he "accidentally" walked in on her changing more than once and that, even though she found him attractive, she demanded that this cameraman knock before going into her room.
Howard asked Hulk about his singing career before playing a clip of one of his songs, "Hulkster in Heaven." Hulk said that the song in question was written in honor of a boy who wanted to meet him through the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and who died on the same day the two of them were introduced. Hulk then noted that he grew up poor and worked on the docks before he got into wrestling. Artie replied that his life sounded much like Hulk's story, commenting that he used to work on the docks as well and has also devoted his life to getting in shape.
Hulk acknowledged that he has injured people in the past, including the time he made Richard Belzer's head bleed. Hulk explained that he was on a promotional tour years ago and "the Belz," contacted him and said that 12 sick children were at his studio wanted to meet him on his show. Hulk said that he agreed to meet the children, but discovered upon his arrival at the studio that he was the victim of a hoax. Hulk went on to say that he ended up putting Richard in a headlock and dropping him on the floor after Richard had challenged him to do so. Hulk then said that he was sorry for his action and has apologized to Richard for it.
Following the commercial break, Howard reported that Ronnie gave him a note from Brooke who said that she wants to come in by herself for her next interview. Brooke then came back into the studio to say that she's looking forward to her next talk with Howard and that he should wait until she turns 18 in a few months before he books her.
