A listener called in and reported that he didn't think the audience really liked Jon Stewart's performance last night as Oscars host. Although Howard admitted that the expectations for Jon were high, he felt like he did well. Howard went on to say that the pressure of having to perform in front of Hollywood's elite is the reason many young comedians won't host the ceremony. After Howard mentioned that he was happy that Phillip Seymour Hoffman won an award for his portrayal of Truman Capote in "Capote," he played a clip of Serena Williams' reaction to the news. In the clip, Serena noted that she was glad "Phillip Seaman Hoffmore" took home the award for Best Actor. Howard also played a clip of Joan Rivers misidentifying Lee Majors on the red carpet as she was interviewing him. Following the clip, Artie pointed out that, in Joan's defense, no one could've predicted that Lee Majors would be invited to the Oscars.
