Howard said he wanted to play the tape of his interview with Sean Hannity, and asked Gary if the entire clip was in his computer. When Gary responded through his intercom that it wasn't, JD, who prepared the clip, told Howard it was. This led Howard to point out that Gary shouldn't reply to questions which he doesn't know the answers to. However, Gary noted that he based his answer on previous instances of how JD dealt with such clips, and that he didn't "make up" his answer just for the sake of having one. Howard then wondered which Gary blunder made for better radio: making up an answer to one of his questions, or when he didn't check his cell phone messages yesterday to see if Artie had called in sick.As Gary began to defend himself, Sal put a bag with "Monkey" written on it over Gary's head. When Howard, who saw the incident on his monitor, began laughing, Gary commented that Sal performs stunts like that simply because he knows it'll get a reaction from him. Gary added that Howard was wasting time discussing his slipup and that he was choosing to let the show drag on. Howard then played the entire interview with Sean Hannity, before promising that his "tour" about the lawsuit would not end there.
