When Henry Rollins came into the studio, he noted the people who have been criticizing Howard about his move to SIRIUS were doing so out of jealousy, so he shouldn’t worry about their remarks. Howard replied he doesn’t feel any “weirdness or jealousy” toward anyone from terrestrial radio, but he still chooses to address some of his critics on the air when he feels like he has to do so. After Henry said in two years people won’t remember when they didn’t have satellite radio, he mentioned he tuned into Howard’s final broadcast on KROCK and it wasn’t until then he realized just how big of an impact Howard had on the world.
