When Jimmy Kimmel came into the studio, he commented he was surprised how clean it was. Howard replied, though, that Jimmy might reconsider his remark if he knew he was sitting on the same couch Rappin' Granny sat on after she rode the Sybian last week. Howard then mentioned that Jimmy claimed the ratings for his show, "Jimmy Kimmel Live," have been up as of late, but that he had also heard that the show was still losing to "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson."
However, Jimmy told Howard his program's actually beating out "The Late Late Show." Howard went on to say he and Jimmy ate lunch together yesterday, but he didn't invite him up to his apartment after their meal because he wasn't sure if he'd be able to get him to leave later on. Howard then said he decided to rent movies through his cable company once he returned home, but all of them were bad. After Howard talked about the movies he ordered – which included "Pride and Prejudice," "Just Friends" and "Doom" – and how he couldn't watch more than five minutes of any of them, Jimmy pointed out he should've invited him up to his apartment after all.
