Howard brought up the fact that Jon Hein took a shot of his own last night on "The Intern Show" when Shannon, one of the girls on the show, called him old. After playing a clip of Robin's intern claiming he isn't allowed to be in the same room as her – an allegation both Robin and her assistant, Kerry, insisted wasn't true – Shannon came into the studio and guessed Jon was 44 years old. Jon then told Shannon he was actually 38, and Howard pointed out that, to him, if Jon lost 20 pounds he might start looking his age. Jon added he was driving home from the Howard 100 softball team's game last night and his mood quickly changed from good to bad when he tuned into "The Intern Show" and heard Shannon's critique of him. Shannon went on to say in the clip that she rated both Jon and Richard a 4, while also scoring Jason a 3. When Shannon gave Will an 8, Howard recalled that, when KC used to work on the show, Will would've received a 6 compared to KC, while Robin noted she thought Will seemed so attractive to girls because he spends his time sitting next to Jon and Jason. Turning back to the clip, Shannon scored JD a 7, although she admitted this morning she didn't know who he was at the time. However, to Howard's surprise, when JD entered the studio, Shannon still gave him a 6. Shannon then scored Steve the Intern an 8 and added that her co-intern, Travis, who happens to be Penny Crone's son, is already in love with her before giving him a 9. Shannon added that, although she's finding Travis' affection for her nice now, she doubted her feelings would last if he keeps up his antics. This brought Travis into the studio, who announced that he spent $80 taking Shannon out to dinner last night, so he didn't understand why she was badmouthing him. Shannon then scored herself an 8.5, claiming she was "nothing special," before telling Scott the Engineer, who came into the studio for his score, that he was a 3.
