Dixie Chicks In Studio to Promote 'Taking the Long Way'

The three country singers make their first appearance on the Stern Show

Natalie Maines, Martie Seidel and Emily Erwin of the Dixie Chicks came into the studio to promote their new album, "Taking the Long Way." Before he got to that, though, Howard pointed out that, with 30 million albums sold, plus years of successful tours, he thought each of the women was worth millions of dollars, but Natalie told him they weren't as wealthy as they should be. Natalie added the three of them share the publishing rights to their songs equally, so they all earn the same amount of money.
