Continuing a theme he started on last week’s Friday Show, Jon played another clip of Mrs. Flemstein, the old lady character Fred used to play at WNBC, who told one-liners so Jackie “The Joke Man” Martling could try to figure out the punch lines. Here are some of the jokes Mrs. Flemstein offered in today’s tape: “Why do Italian men have moustaches? So they can look like their mothers.” “Why do Jewish-American princesses have crows’ feet?” “Because they get tired of saying, ‘Suck what?’” and “What do you call a Polish person with 1,500 girlfriends? A shepherd.”
