Howard said he watched "American Idol" last night, and the first thing he noticed was that Randy Jackson was "fat" again, despite having had gastric bypass surgery.
Howard then commented he'd been reading articles about children who undergo the procedure, even though it was designed as "a last-ditch effort" for losing weight. Howard added that, to him, the best part of dropping weight was the satisfaction of a lifestyle change, and that people who get the surgery don't confront the real problems in their lives. Artie then mentioned he tried to be healthy yesterday and succeeded, playing in a game of basketball and only ate a a turkey sandwich for dinner.
Because it was Wednesday, which meant it was Crumbs cupcake day, Howard demanded someone in the back hide the cupcakes so Artie wouldn't eat any of them. Howard then asked Artie if he put food and sex on the same level, but he replied he still preferred sex.
