Shuli came into the studio to report he flew to a gig this weekend with Richard Christy, who was drinking so much that he got drunk on the plane ride. Richard insisted he only drank on the plane because he was so afraid of flying, but admitted he also drank with Beetlejuice at 6 a.m. on Saturday because Beet was the only person willing to drink that early.
Be a Man and Come Clean
Further discussions of last weekend's Killers of Comedy show brought Sal into the studio acknowledging that he did use a joke about Beth in his act, even though he'd claimed in the past that he'd taken it out. Howard replied by saying, if that was the case, he was going to start making jokes at the expense of Sal's wife, Christine, but Robin told him she didn't think it was right for her to suffer for Sal's actions.
Once Howard agreed with Robin, he pointed out Sal spent an entire weekend assuring Beth he liked her and had cut the joke about her from his act, adding that Sal should, at least, be honest with her about his joke because of it. Howard then again threatened to make remarks about some of Christine's physical attributes, and noted he wasn't upset that Sal was still using the Beth joke, but didn't appreciate how he had assured her it wasn't in his act anymore.
