Howard got Mike Walker of the National Enquirer on the line, as he does every Thursday, to play "The Gossip Game," in which Mike reads four gossip items – three of which are (allegedly) true, and one false – and the crew has to guess the fake. Mike then read this week's stories:
1. Lindsay Lohan caused a fist-fight between two paramours she met in rehab.
2. Gary Busey asked for a limo to take him to the set of his new reality show, but they would only send a town car.
3. Jason Lee is wearing a fake mustache on this season of "My Name Is Earl."
4. Paula Abdul is a shameless re-gifter.
Howard, Artie, and Fred all picked item three as the fake. Greg Fitzsimmon thought Paula Abdul couldn't, as Mike claimed in the story, turn red, so he thought item 4 was false. Robin picked the second item, saying that Gary Busey would never turn down screen time. Mike then revealed that Howard, Artie, and Fred had guessed correctly, but he insisted that Artie didn't deserve the win after just choosing "whatever Fred says."
