A caller wanted to know what, at 6:40 a.m., Artie had eaten, and he responded with a buttered bagel, Hawaiian Punch, chocolate chip cookies and a flavored coffee. Artie then admitted he usually fell asleep toward the end of the show, and that he attributed that to both his diet and the fact that he got tired trying to be “funny and interesting” for five hours every morning.

Howard then brought up the “artistic” posters Photofiddle had made with photos of everyone on the show, and added the ones of Artie, featuring him eating a cupcake, and Jon Hein were his favorites. Howard then talked about two clips he’d been enjoying as of late from You Tube: the first of videogame players crying after losing a game, and the second being a montage of some of Mike Tyson’s more memorable quotes from his career.

To honor Black History Month, Howard also played clips of Sal talking to African Americans in Harlem, asking them if they thought there should be a White History Month. While none of the interviewees believed such a month should exist, one pointed out he wouldn’t mind seeing a “Jew History Month.”
