While Doug Goodstein of HowardTV was in the studio discussing some of the interviews he'd been conducting for the Bubba the Love Sponge wedding special set to air next month, he mentioned how long-winded Ronnie the Limo Driver's answers were. This led Howard to say Ronnie's name came up on "The Wrap Up Show" yesterday, and he played a clip of Artie claiming Ronnie had warned his assistant, Teddy, not to talk to Howard.
Ronnie then came into the studio to defend his remark, but, when he acknowledged telling Artie, "We don't understand why Teddy came up to us" – with the "we" and "us" referring to both him and Howard – Howard denied making such a comment to Ronnie, and advised him not to include his name in any conversations he has in the future.
Ronnie responded by insisting Howard simply didn't want to be "the bad guy" in this case before yelling that he wouldn't bother him by talking to him anymore, and then stormed out of the studio.
Howard then took some calls from listeners, all noting they thought Ronnie was out of line for his behavior. Howard then demanded Ronnie apologize to him, but Gary got on his intercom and reported Ronnie had locked himself in Scott the Engineer's studio and wasn't coming out...and that Richard and Sal were taunting him through the door.
