Chubby Wants to Put It to Rest

During Robin’s news, Chubby Checker called in to end his “feud” with Howard. After Chubby said he was a big fan of both Howard’s and Robin’s, he added he was “there in Philadelphia” for Howard when he attended his book signing in the city years ago, and also went to another function Howard hosted in New York. Howard then noted he didn’t want there to be any bad blood between the two of them, and Chubby agreed. Chubby went on to ask Howard to encourage his listeners to buy his new album, “Knock Down the Walls,” and Howard assured him he was “on his team.”
