High Marks for ‘The View’

After a caller reported voting for Sanjaya 200 times last night, he also pointed out how much he enjoyed Beth’s appearance on “The View” yesterday.

This led Howard to say Beth felt like she was under a great deal of pressure, mostly because of all the scrutiny she received, both from his fans as well as from the press, including a critique that appeared in today’s edition of the New York Post.

However, Howard added he thought Beth looked “natural” on the show, explaining he felt she was fashionable and didn’t try to speak over the regular hosts.

Howard then read a number of e-mails about Beth’s performance, all of which stating how they found her attractive, smart and “ladylike” and that they believed she was a perfect fit on the program.
