Although Andy admitted rebuttals weren't what he normally did, he prepared for his remarks. Andy then pointed out that he felt there were too many gay jokes made about him at the roast, and that he was considering going back to rehab following the morning's events. Because Andy wasn't insulting the comedians, Howard asked what his problem was, and Andy responded by insisting he wasn't used to making jokes about people. When Sal went on to say he wanted to have Hanson back in the studio instead of having to listen to Andy – a joke that got no laughter from the crowd – Andy advised Benjy to "develop a stutter" in order to get laughs in the future.
Since Andy was struggling with jokes about the comedians, Howard asked him to sing one of the songs he had prepared for the roast, but Andy replied that he was saving his songs for "the end." After Greg told a story about a drunken Andy's use of the n-word at a nightclub years ago, Andy and his band broke into song, the first one about Robin and her black heritage and the second concerning Howard, which he sang right after hurling a number of insults at Lisa.
Following the songs, Howard thanked all the comedians for taking part in the roast, as well as Andy himself for enduring all the insults.
