Give Him What He's Owed

Howard brought up that comedian, D.L. Hughley, talked about the Don Imus controversy when he was on "The Tonight Show" on Friday, which led to Howard saying he still supported Imus' suit against CBS despite his personal feelings about him.

Robin then noted Imus wasn't suing CBS just for the money he was supposed to get from his contract, but also for an additional $80 million, arguing in the suit that CBS encouraged him to be "controversial" and that the company had the power to censor whatever he said on the air with the Dump Button.

Upon hearing that, Howard guessed one of the reasons Imus was seeking so much money was because of the legal bills he was piling up as a result of the suit, remembering he went through the same thing in the past when he had to try to get his money from broken contracts.
