Howard began today reporting that Jason was in the hallway throwing up because he'd spent the weekend starving himself so he could win The Battle of the Blobs competition.
Jason then came into the studio to say he'd been on an "all-liquid diet" for the past two weeks, and promised Howard he wouldn't put the weight back on now that the contest was over.
However, Benjy pointed out that Jason wasn't the only person who sacrificed, noting he hadn't eaten for the past week either. Because Howard wanted Jason to eat, he announced he wanted to do the final weigh-in for The Battle of the Blobs right away. Scott the Engineer then came into the studio and said he hadn't eaten in a week either, but also claimed he did it "the healthy way."
As Benjy made his way to the scale, he took off his hat and revealed he'd shaved his head for optimal weight loss, and Scott yelled that Benjy needed to be disqualified because he altered his body, but Howard dismissed the suggestion. Here were this week's results:
• Brian Phelan started at 243 pounds, was 217 pounds last week, and was the same weight this week.
• Scott the Engineer began the contest at 264 pounds, was 222 pounds last week, and was 213 pounds this week, which Gary said was a 19-percent weight loss.
• Jason started at 271 pounds, was 223 pounds last week, and was 212 pounds this week, which Gary noted was a 22-percent weight loss.
• Benjy began at 267 pounds, was 230 pounds last week, and was 203 pounds this week, which Gary calculated was almost a 24-percent weight loss.
Benjy said he dropped 27 pounds in the last week by taking a diet drug and fasting, and also said would hide his weekly weight loss by drinking water prior to each weigh-in. Benjy then noted he thought Scott's and Jason's "fatal error" was not fasting sooner than they did, and Scott responded by blaming Benjy's win on his "tricks."
Benjy insisted, though, that he didn't do anything wrong to win the contest, and that he had enough energy to wrestle Scott, who threatened to go after Benjy only to be restrained by Gary. Benjy then began singing "I Am the Howard Stern Weight Loss Champion" to the tune of Queen's "We Are the Champion."
After Gary pointed out that he knew Jason was "crushed" by his loss, Howard asked Benjy to take off his shirt, which he did, and Howard talked about all the excess skin hanging from his body. Joey Boots proceeded to call in to say he thought "shenanigans were afoot" with Benjy's weight loss, and recommended Steve Langford of Howard 100 News look into the matter, but Benjy again said his weight loss wasn't out of the ordinary given what he did.
When Robin then asked Benjy what he planned on doing with his $20,000 prize, he replied, "Buy a house or something."
