Jimmy Fallon came in and said that he had Sirius, but wasn't able to figure out how to install it. Howard asked how Jimmy's bi-coastal relationship was going. Jimmy said they meet up once a month, which he considers a great arrangement.
Jimmy added that a majority of his life is devoted to the "gay" shows he records on his TiVo. Howard asked if Jimmy ever went to strip clubs or anything, but Jimmy claimed he didn't really like them.
Howard asked how he got his gig at SNL, and Artie said that Jimmy was a great impressionist. Jimmy said he does like to do impressions, but hasn't practiced them much since leaving SNL. Jimmy did an impression of Howard that he admitted sounded a little like Alan Alda, but Robin thought it sounded like Johnny Carson. Howard then asked Jimmy to do Pat O'Brien, and Jimmy obliged by cutting a mock-promo for "Extra."
Jimmy said that, while he was still in high school, his mom entered him in an impressionist contest in upstate New York. Jimmy performed for two minutes, won, and then started emceeing local comedy gigs. From there, a friend of Jimmy's got him some auditions during pilot season in LA. Before his audition at SNL, nearly everyone told him that Lorne Michaels never laughs, but Lorne ended up laughing during Jimmy's Sandler impression. Three weeks later, Jimmy got the call to meet Lorne in LA.
A Contract and a Car Wash
Jimmy then revealed that he signed an exclusivity contract with NBC to do a late night show, but he has to wait until Conan moves over to the Tonight Show. Jimmy said "it's really a contract to not do a show for anybody else," and added that he was surprised that he got the gig after once disastrously interviewing Kristanna Loken. Jimmy also said he's currently filming a movie where Sharon Stone plays his mom.
Jimmy noted that he has a new single, "Car Wash For Peace," on iTunes, and all the profits go to Fisher House, a charity for wounded soldiers. Jimmy then performed the song, assisted with some handclaps and backing vocals from Howard and Artie. Afterward, Jimmy said Bill Clinton had jokingly asked him why he waited so long to write the song. Howard asked one last time if Jimmy ever went crazy with girls and drugs, and Jimmy said he did, especially with the girls.
