Howard says he was gratified by all the comments sent into the show about last week's Jackie Special.
Artie says he listened to seven hours of it and Robin says she felt she was addicted to it. Artie said he's the opposite of Jackie, because he thinks he's overpaid – Howard could hire seven more Richard Christys for the same money, giving him seven more guys to blow Sal. Howard said the two-week "History of the Howard Stern Show" extravaganza they have planned for the end of the year will really blow people's minds.
Artie said his favorite part of the Jackie special was Billy West's Jackie impression. Robin says she loved the segment where Jackie's take on Johnny Carson's Carnac called Robin "a c*nt." Robin then noted that Jackie bragged during the special that he got money out of Howard and Don Buchwald, which he claimed had impressed Mel Karmazin.
Gary said Jackie could even write jokes in an arrogant manner, adding that Jackie used to try to anger him by saying he was underpaid. Howard says Jackie emailed to say he loved the special and added that his ex-wife, Nancy, would like to do Dial-A-Date. Robin says they should call it "F' Jackie's Wife".
