A Big Step For the Merger

Howard started off the show celebrating the Department of Justice’s approval of the Sirius/XM merger. Howard said he was so invested in the service and technology of satellite radio, he got a little emotional when he heard the news. The crew all agreed that they shouldn’t get too carried away: the FCC still has the final word. Howard laughed that he didn’t how long the whole process would take, but it seemed like the government took less time with Warren Commission. Howard said he didn’t care about getting all the XM programming, but he was excited about being able to eliminate the programs that overlap in favor of developing new niche-based shows.
