Howard got Mike Walker of the National Enquirer on the line, as he does every Thursday, to play "The Gossip Game," in which Mike reads four gossip items – three (allegedly) true, one false – and the crew has to guess which is the fake. But first Howard talked about Mike's new book, "Get Real! The Sexy, Scary, Scandalous World of Reality TV," which has an entire chapter explaining Mike's theory on how Howard Stern invented reality TV. Howard said he found the rest of the book to be just as good and recommended everyone go to Amazon or their local book store and get it, noting that Mike "doesn't write boring shit." Mike then read this week's stories: 1. Because of carcinogens in her vibrator's plastic, Eva Longoria refuses to use her vibrator for more than an hour a day. 2. Cher screamed at a fan who confused her for Howard Stern. 3. Mariah Carey is keeping off the weight by only eating with women. 4. Tom Cruise can't keep up with David Beckham on their totally gay morning jogs. Howard, Artie and Greg all thought the Cher story was too good to be true. Fred and Robin went with the strange Eva Longoria item. Mike then gleefully announced he had fooled everyone: the Mariah Carey story was the fake.
