George Takei called in to say he and his boyfriend Brad are planning to celebrate the legalization of gay marriage in California by getting married. George added that he was considering several sites for the ceremony and reception, but was still afraid conservative petitioners might get the decision overturned before they can go through with it. Howard wondered who the bride would be, but George countered: "We're both grooms."
Artie asked, "If I'm your cuddly muffin, can I be your Maid of Honor?" George said he'd consider having a "Muffin of Honor," so Artie serenaded the happy groom with a special A Capella version of Anne Murray's "Feelings." Artie added that he couldn't wait to sing at the wedding, as he'd like to hear his father spin in his grave. George then thanked everyone for their support and said he hoped to see them at the wedding.
