Steve Langford denied that he requested access to the Ed Sullivan Theater to report on the Letterman scandal: “Did not want to go over there. Did not make the request.” Howard asked Steve if Tim Sabean was lying, but Steve balked: “I did not say that.”

Tim then came in to say that Howard100 News Director Brad Driver had indeed called him to see if they should send someone to the show – but Howard took more interest in his expanding waistline. Tim confessed that he’d gained 5lbs since quitting Robin’s detox diet: “It’s funny how you really gotta stick to this…I didn’t go to the gym and went out to dinner a couple of times.”
