Robin Tires of Marathon Training

Howard started the show asking Robin about her marathon training, so Robin sighed: “I’m tired of running now and it’d be great to just stop and give myself a break for a little while and then come back to it fresh. But I can’t do that. I just have to keep going. No matter how tired you get. No matter what’s going on.”

Robin laughed that her training might never end: “I have an offer. They want me to do the San Francisco marathon.” Robin said she’d enjoyed “some part” of the training, namely her renewed strength: “I was carrying this really heavy bag and never realized how heavy the bag was.” Howard laughed (“You’re not from Krypton, are you?”) that it’d take an incredible amount of strength to conquer San Francisco’s hilly terrain: “I just look at San Francisco and I’m exhausted.”

And Comments on the betrayal

Robin said she’d thought more about a perceived ‘betrayal’ that left her wanting “all new friends” and downgraded the offense: “I’ve determined it was a betrayal. But a betrayal with a little ‘b’ not a big ‘B.'”

Howard tried to pry, but Robin resisted, saying he’d only make her angrier. Howard agreed, laughing that he loved to overanalyze: “I’ll take that little ‘b’ and make it a big ‘B.'”
