Gary told Howard that Ellie, a bedbug-sniffing beagle, had been brought up to check George for any live bugs or eggs. The dog was going to smell George and his clothes--separately: "They need to be about 5 to 7 feet apart."
George stripped off his clothes and put them on a chair as Howard recoiled: "You have bites all over you! I see them!"
Ellie then came in and found no traces--George was overjoyed: "I'm clean! Oh, what a relief."
Dave, the Quest Pest Control operator, told Howard that he'd like to check more than just George's clothes: "I would do the whole studio."
Dave warned George--or anyone for that matter--to be careful in gyms, taxis and trains: "Anywhere there's people."
Howard asked how he could prevent George from bringing bedbugs from his apartment into the studio, so Dave recommended that George heat his clothing for 15 minutes before he walks out the door: "If there's access to a clothes dryer, that would work."
