Hosting 'SNL' Proves Nothing

Howard and Robin discuss Gabourey Sidibe's 'Saturday Night Live' hosting gig.

Howard played a few clips of entertainment reporters trying to make the claim that 'Precious' star Gabourey Sidibe's had proven him wrong by booking an "SNL" hosting gig.

Howard maintained that Sidibe still wouldn't have a long career: "Women who're 140lbs can't get work in Hollywood."

Robin thought Sidibe should actually thank Howard for her continued success: "We have made her a big star. Everybody--everybody was saying, 'Oh, you look lovely,' so she would go away. We have created the situation where everybody's still talking about her."

Robin continued: "I'm again saying this girl needs help. Everybody's supporting her in staying she gonna be replacing Angelina Jolie in 'Tomb Raider'?"

Howard laughed that he'd actually go see that: "[But] I'm the enemy. I don't know how I got into this's the creepiest thing when you state the obvious and it's [dismissed]."

Robin also took issue with reports that compared Sidibe's SNL appearance to Sarah Palin's: "Sarah Palin went on the show that was mocking her."

If Sidibe did the same, she'd do Howard's show, not "SNL."
